The GSP Health Family Medicine Residency Program, partnering with Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences and the Osteopathic Medical Education Consortium of Oklahoma. This three-year postgraduate program focuses on comprehensive outpatient care, emphasizing the family unit and ambulatory patient care, and is designed to enhance clinical skills in specific areas.

Our goal is to provide an exceptional education in outpatient medicine with our clinic-first model. We offer 8 elective rotations, allowing residents to choose the focus of their educational experience.Under the single accreditation system established by the ACGME, the program is open to physicians practicing osteopathic and allopathic medicine

Meet the Coordinator/Administrator

Jay Sharp has a background in nonprofit management and public health, bringing a unique blend of leadership and community-focused experience to GSP Health in his role as Residency Coordinator.

In addition to his work at GSP Health, Jay serves on several local boards and contributes nationally as a member of the National Teaching Health Centers Graduate Medical Education Administrators Advisory Board. He also serves as a Technical Assistance Advisor with the Sheps Center for Health Services Research, where he focuses on expanding access to graduate medical education and addressing physician shortages in underserved communities.
