Linda McMurphy, MD
Internal Medicine

Dr. McMurphy attended The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where she completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine. After Medical School she was in private practice in Alva, OK from 2010-2012 then began working at Great Salt Plains Health Center. She grew up in Alva, OK where she attended high school. She has a Bachelor of Music Education from Phillips University, Master of Education from Northwestern Oklahoma State University as well as a Bachelor of Science. She resides in Alva, OK.

Timothy Newton, DO
Family Medicine

Dr. Timothy Newton grew up in Cherokee, Oklahoma. He graduated Cherokee High School in 2002. Dr. Newton completed college at UCO in Edmond and began medical school in Tulsa at the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007. During this time he met his wife Michelle Newton (Richey) from Alva, Ok. Dr. Newton entered rural family practice residency in 2011 in Durant, OK. After graduating as Chief Resident in 2015 he returned home to Cherokee to begin practicing at the Great Salt Plains Health Center. Dr. Newton resides in Alva with his wife and 4 kids.

Tobi Bratten, APRN-CNP
Family Medicine

Tobi grew up in Guymon, OK. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Oklahoma Panhandle State University. She worked as a critical care nurse for 5 years at St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid, OK, while going to nurse practitioner school. She completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner program from Graceland University in 2013. She is married to Levi, who is a pipeline operator for OneOk Field Services and pastor at Cedar Springs Church of the Nazarene. They have one daughter Lydia and live in Fairview, OK.

Shannon Jamerson, APRN-CNP
Family Medicine

Shannon graduated from Wichita State University in 2007 with her undergrad degree in nursing then in 2010 she obtained her graduate degree in nursing. She previously worked as a lab technician and an RN at Summer Regional Medical Center in Wellington, KS and as a provider at GraceMed in Wichita, KS and at a private practice in Winfield, KS before starting her journey at GSPHC in Medford, OK. Shannon is board certified in Family Medicine.

Amanda John, PA-C
Family Medicine

Amanda John is a Texas native who is enjoying her time here in Oklahoma. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Denver and her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX in 2011. Prior to joining Great Salt Plains Health Center, she worked in Landstuhl, Germany providing care for our military service members and their families. She is excited to join GSP and care for the wonderful people of Enid. Amanda is married to her husband, Hunter, and has a beautiful little girl, Loreley. In her spare time, she enjoys being an Air Force wife (Hunter is an instructor pilot at Vance AFB), playing tennis and knitting!

Scott Cooper, PA-C
Family Medicine

Scott Cooper is from Paris, Texas were he lived most of his life. He worked as a paramedic in Paris for 7 years before moving to Washington State in 2009 where he went to PA school at the University of Washington in Seattle. He lived and worked in the Sulphur/Ardmore area as a PA for the past four years. He and his wife just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. They have 2 boys ages 9 and 3 who keep them busy. In his “free time”, he enjoys outdoor activities including hunting and fishing, hiking and playing softball. He is excited to be a part of a growing clinic here at Great Salt Plains and looks forward to bringing quality care to those who need it most.

Dr. Luke Nguyen, DDS

Dr. Nguyen grew up in Buffalo, NY where he attended the University Of Buffalo School Of Dental Medicine where he graduated with honors. After school he moved to Arizona and worked on the Navajo Reservation. He is very excited to be here at Great Salt Plains Health Center and serving the great community of Cherokee and surrounding towns.

Corrie Lillie, LMFT

Corrie Lillie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2002. Her major was Family Psychology with a minor in Spanish. She furthered her education at Southern Nazarene University and earned a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2006. Currently, she is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Oklahoma. Corrie thoroughly enjoys working with individuals and families. She believes that each patient is unique and deals with life challenges in their own personal way.

Kerri Bell, LPC, LADC

Kerri Bell is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She has been working as a therapist for the past nine years in a variety of settings, including public schools, inpatient substance abuse treatment, out-patient mental health, and private practice. Kerri is a graduate of Missouri State University with a Master of Science degree in Community Agency Counseling. She is currently working with clients through Great Salt Plains Health Center’s Cherokee office and serving as Director of Behavioral Health. She and her husband love to travel to visit their adult children, camp, stay involved with their church and community, and drink good coffee.

Justin Loughman, LMFT

Justin is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist licensed with over 15 years of experience working with families, couples, and individuals. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma and his Master of Science in Counseling from the California State University, Fullerton. He is the chair person for the Mental Health Coalition of Garfield County and active in several other organizations geared toward improving the mental health needs of our community. Justin's personal interests include spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling, camping, and serving in his church.
